9. Meeting in real life

Baile's verification confirms the person is real and matches their photo, but it is not a background check and doesn't replace your own judgment. Meeting in person is your decision and your responsibility. Meet in public places, tell someone you trust and follow your instincts.

10. Availability and changes to the service

We work to keep Baile running, but the service is provided "as is", without a guarantee of continuous availability. We may change, suspend or discontinue features. Material changes to these Terms will be announced in the app; continuing to use it after the notice counts as acceptance.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Baile is not liable for indirect damages arising from interactions between users inside or outside the app. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under Brazilian law, including the Consumer Protection Code.

12. Account deletion

You can delete your account at any time in the app. The steps, and what happens to your data, are in Account deletion.

13. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of Brazil. Disputes will be settled in the courts of your place of residence, as provided by consumer law.
